Volleyball Recap: Chestatee War Eagles vs. Lumpkin County Indians
Chestatee was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight loss. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Lumpkin County Indians. War Eagles fans who chose to attend the game sure picked the wrong one: it was the first time the team has lost against the Indians since Tuesday.
The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-15.
Kylie Rudeseal paced Chestatee's offense, picking up two kills. Rudeseal got some help from Natalie Sykes and her two assists. Finally, Ellie Tolbert kept Chestatee's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.
Chestatee's defeat dropped their record down to 8-23. As for Lumpkin County, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 17-15.
Looking ahead, Chestatee will square off against White County at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lumpkin County does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
