Basketball Recap: Hastings' Losing Streak Snapped at Six Games

Hastings came into Saturday's match having lost six straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They took down the Lexington Minutemen 39-20 on Saturday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Hastings' victory bumped their record up to 3-8. As for Lexington, their defeat was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-9.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hastings will venture away from home to take on Aurora at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Aurora will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Hastings surely won't give up without a fight. As for Lexington, they will head out on the road to challenge Kearney Catholic at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
