Volleyball Recap: Lutheran Comes Up Short

Lutheran came into their game on Tuesday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the West St. John Rams. The loss continues a trend for the Gryphons in their meetings with the Rams: they've now lost three in a row.

Lutheran's defeat dropped their record down to 3-8. As for West St. John, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 3-7 record this season.

Lutheran will take on Riverside Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for West St. John, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against McDonogh 35 on the 1st.
