Eastside got themselves on the board against Antelope Valley on Friday, but Antelope Valley never followed suit. They put the hurt on the Antelopes with a sharp 10-0 victory. That's two games straight that the Lions have won by exactly ten runs.

Raymond Paiz looked comfortable as he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been consistent : he hasn't given up more than one walk in seven consecutive appearances.

At the plate, Albert Lemos Jr was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing two bases while going 2-for-3. Those two stolen bases gave him a new career-high. Asa Yneztrosa was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Eastside and bumps their season record up to 3-10-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 11.0 runs over those games. As for Antelope Valley, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-9.

Looking ahead, Eastside will face off against Golden Valley at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Antelope Valley, they will take on Palmdale at 3:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The Falcons will aim to continue their three-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.
