After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Adair, Salina was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They skirted past the Sequoyah Eagles 6-5. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Eagles recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Salina's record now sits at 9-7. As for Sequoyah, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-13 record this season.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Sequoyah beat Salina by a score of 11-6 on Tuesday.
