Baseball Recap: Sheboygan Falls Takes a Loss

Sheboygan Falls was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 25th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Valders Vikings, falling 11-1. That's two games in a row now that the Falcons have lost by exactly ten runs.

Tobey Shircel made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run and stole two bases while getting on base in both of his plate appearances.

Sheboygan Falls' loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Valders, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Looking ahead, Sheboygan Falls will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they takes on North Fond du Lac at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Valders, they will head out on the road to challenge Howards Grove at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Tigers have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 10.6 runs per game on average), something the Vikings will no doubt try to take advantage of.
