Basketball Game Preview: San Juan Spartans vs. Highlands Scots

The San Juan Spartans will head out to challenge the Highlands Scots at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. San Juan has now lost 13 straight, leaving the team hunting for their first win since December 20.

Last Tuesday, San Juan came up short against Golden Sierra and fell 52-45. While the Spartans didn't get the win, they did start the game off strong, beating the Grizzlies 16-10 in the first quarter.

Meanwhile, Highlands ended up a good deal behind Vacaville Christian on Tuesday and lost 62-44.

San Juan's defeat dropped their record down to 2-24. As for Highlands, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

San Juan might still be hurting after the 51-30 defeat they got from Highlands when the teams last played back in January. Can San Juan avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
