Volleyball Recap: Spencerville Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Spencerville lost against Allen East on September 13th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bearcats took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Mustangs. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Spencerville started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-20, 25-15, 25-20.

Aniya Prowant went supernova For Allen East., getting 37 digs and three aces. That's the most digs Prowant has posted over her last six matches.

Spencerville's defeat dropped their record down to 8-13. As for Allen East, their win ended an eight-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 4-13.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Spencerville is set to challenge their familiar foe Bluffton at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Allen East will take on rival Jefferson at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
