The home team had won the previous three meetings between Century and Austin, and Century kept the tradition alive. The Panthers came out on top against the Packers by a score of 4-1 on Friday. For the Panthers, this counts as revenge for the 7-6 victory the Packers walked away with the last time they faced one another back in April of 2024.

Century saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jack Esau, who went 1-for-3 with one run, one double, and one RBI.

Century's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-5. As for Austin, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-7.

Coming up, Century will square off against New Prague at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Austin, they will challenge Winona at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
