Soccer Recap: Warren County Comes Up Short

Warren County managed to keep up with Coffee County Central until halftime on Thursday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers came up short against the Red Raiders, falling 4-0. Warren County haven't had much luck with Coffee County Central recently, as the team has come up short the last six times they've met.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 4-3-1. As for Coffee County Central, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 3-0-3.

Looking ahead, Warren County will head out to take on Lincoln County at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Warren County will be up against Lincoln County's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.67 goals per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Coffee County Central, they will look to defend their home pitch on Tuesday against Spring Hill at 7:00 p.m. Coffee County Central are facing Spring Hill at the right time seeing as Spring Hill are stuck on a six-game losing streak.
