Benbrook and Venus are an even 3-3 against one another since November of 2016, but not for long. The Bobcats will head out to face off against the Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Benbrook will be looking to extend their current three-game winning streak.

Benbrook's tournament run continued when they took on Dalhart on Friday. The Bobcats came out on top against the Wolves by a score of 37-26. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bobcats' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 631st, while the Wolves are ranked 102nd).

Meanwhile, Venus came up short against Keene on Friday and fell 63-52. The Bulldogs have struggled against the Chargers recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive lost matchup.

Benbrook's victory bumped their record up to 8-5. As for Venus, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-7.

Benbrook lost to Venus on the road by a decisive 54-40 margin in their previous meeting back in November of 2024. Can the Bobcats avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
