Volleyball Recap: Big Lake Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Big Lake can now relate to. They came up short against the Sauk Rapids-Rice Storm on Friday, falling 3-0. The Hornets were not able to make up for their defeat to the Storm from their previous meeting back in September of 2023.

This is the second loss in a row for Big Lake and nudges their season record down to 5-12-1. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 18 of their last 20 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 26-3 record this season.

Big Lake does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Sauk Rapids-Rice, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next match, a 3-0 win against Mahtomedi on the 8th.
