Soccer Recap: Flushing Takes a Loss

Flushing was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 4-3 heartbreaker at the hands of the Beach Channel Dolphins. While losing is never fun, Flushing can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 324th, while Beach Channel are ranked 92nd).

Flushing's loss dropped their record down to 6-5. As for Beach Channel, the victory was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-1.

Flushing does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Beach Channel, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Stuyvesant at 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
