Basketball Game Preview: Chiles Timberwolves vs. Rickards Raiders + How To Watch

Chiles is 2-8 against Rickards since February of 2019 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Timberwolves will square off against the Raiders at 7:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.

While Timberwolves fans will have to keep waiting for their team to come home, they shouldn't be too worried about the road trip considering the result of Tuesday's season opener. They came out on top in a nail-biter against FAMU DRS on Tuesday, sneaking past 66-63. The victory continues a trend for the Timberwolves in their matchups with the Baby Rattlers: they've now won six in a row.

Gabe Parks was nothing short of spectacular: he almost dropped a double-double with 32 points and nine boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in November of 2024. Another player making a difference was Omar Ezzagaghi, who dropped a double-double with 13 points and 12 rebounds.

Meanwhile, Rickards gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Marianna 66-38. The matchup was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Raiders had established a 26-point advantage.

Chiles suffered a grim 73-47 defeat to Rickards in their previous matchup back in January. Can the Timberwolves avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
