Gavin Parkhurst's Big Game Leads All S over Grapevine Faith Christian

All S picked up their sixth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Gavin Parkhurst. Grapevine Faith Christian had no answer to Parkhurst as he threw for 175 yards and five touchdowns while completing 71.4% of his passes. Parkhurst has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.

All S pushed their record up to 6-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Parkhurst and All S will challenge Trinity Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

On Friday, Midland Christian got the W thanks in part to Case Cole playing the best football he has all season. Cole rushed for 158 yards and a touchdown while picking up 8.3 yards per carry. He's now once again averaging 100+ rushing yards (102.5) per game.

The victory snapped Midland Christian's losing streak at three games and leaves them with a 2-4 record. Cole and Midland Christian will challenge Fort Worth Christian at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Avery Morgan produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Midland Christian to the win on Friday. Morgan rushed for 44 yards and two touchdowns, and also threw for 158 yards and a touchdown while completing 78.9% of his passes.
