Zy Evans leads a balanced attack to beat Wayne County

The Laurel Golden Tornadoes had already won 18 in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 36.8 points), and they went ahead and made it 19 on Friday. They blew past Wayne County 69-45. Laurel has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 18 matchups by 20 points or more this season.
Laurel's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Zy Evans, who scored 15 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. It was the first time this season that Evans posted two or more blocks. Marissa Ulmer was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with six assists and six rebounds.
Laurel's victory bumped their record up to 24-3. As for Wayne County, their defeat dropped their record down to 19-7.
Laurel does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Wayne County also has no future games currently scheduled.
