Baseball Recap: Del Valle Comes Up Short

Del Valle was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat. They came up short against the Johnson City Eagles, falling 8-1.

Del Valle saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was CAIN VILLAREAL, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Del Valle's loss dropped their record down to 4-12-1. As for Johnson City, their win bumped their record up to 17-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as Del Valle Cardinals face off against Dripping Springs Tigers at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Johnson City, they will host Center Point at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in the Eagles' favor as the squad sits on five straight wins at home while the Pirates have been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
