Baseball Recap: Burke Catholic Takes Down Tuckahoe in a Playoff Battle

It's playoff time, and Burke Catholic had no trouble coming through when it counted. They skirted past the Tuckahoe Tigers 2-0. The two-run effort marked Burke Catholic's lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

The result came thanks to Jordan Drucker's shutout, as he gave up just two hits and racked up seven Ks. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two hits in three consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Dylan DeMaro, who went 1-for-2 with two runs and one stolen base. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last four times he's played.
