Soccer Recap: Tioga Comes Up Short

Tioga was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Ouachita Parish Lions. The Indians were probably out for revenge after losing 6-0 to them when the teams met back in January, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Tioga's loss dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Ouachita Parish, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tioga will take on Pineville in a holiday battle at at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Ouachita Parish, they will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Beau Chene at 2:00 p.m. on January 4, 2025.
