Baseball Recap: Armada Tigers vs. North Branch Broncos

Armada extended their losing streak to four on Tuesday, dropping their season record down to 9-14-1 in the process. They lost 10-4 to the North Branch Broncos. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Broncos this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 5-2 last Tuesday.

As for North Branch, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-4-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.4 runs on average over those games.

For North Branch's part, Owen Yens made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.
