This season hasn't been kind to the High Point Eagles, who are still winless after their sixth game. They fell to Francis Scott Key 52-48.
High Point lost on Thursday despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Ibrahim Turay, who scored 13 points. The game was Turay's sixth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Kadan Solomonraj, who scored 11 points.
High Point's defeat dropped their record down to 0-6. As for Francis Scott Key, their victory bumped their record up to 2-6.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. High Point's road trip will continue as they head out to face DuVal at 7:15 p.m. on January 4, 2024. DuVal presents a significant challenge as they come into the match much higher ranked than High Point in Maryland (DuVal is ranked 68th, while High Point is ranked 279th).
