You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Soledad's strategy against Pajaro Valley on Tuesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Aztecs blew the Grizzlies out of the water with a 69-18 final score. The Aztecs haven't had any issues with the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Soledad's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Calvin Deshazo, who went 5-for-6 on his way to 12 points along with six boards and three steals. Those three steals gave Deshazo a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Pedro Morales Jr, who shot 56% from the field en route to 13 points and six rebounds.

Soledad's record now sits at 2-0. As for Pajaro Valley, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.
