Softball Recap: Sewickley Academy Find Success

On Friday Sewickley Academy's undefeated season almost came to an end. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-11 W against the South Side Rams. The pitching woes were uncharacteristic for Sewickley Academy, who until this matchup were averaging 2.13 runs allowed.

Sanaa Grant (2026) was a standout: she went 4-for-5 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three runs. She also put up a double, which was her first of the season. Another player making a difference was Quincy Sirko (2025), who went 4-for-5 with three runs, one triple, and two RBI.
