Hunt suffered their biggest defeat since August 23, 2024 on Friday. They were dealt a 49-14 loss at the hands of the Northern Nash Knights. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the Knights: they've now lost three in a row.

Doryan Jones and Mez Harris certainly did their best on Friday to avoid the loss. Jones rushed for 94 yards and one score, while Harris rushed for 91 yards on only eight carries.

Hunt's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 3-1 and their overall record down to 6-2. As for Northern Nash, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 7-1.

Looking ahead, Hunt will face off against Rocky Mount at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Gryphons' defense has only allowed 13.6 points per game this season, so the Warriors' offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Northern Nash, they will take on Southern Nash at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. That matchup will pit two of the most dominant backs against one another: Myles Eatmon and Jaden Hartsfield.
