Basketball Game Preview: Chief Kitsap Academy Bears vs. Crescent Loggers

Having just played yesterday, the Chief Kitsap Academy Bears will get right back to it and host the Crescent Loggers at 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Chief Kitsap Academy is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 74 points on Thursday, they were much more limited against Sound Christian on Tuesday. They took a blow against the Lions, falling 82-24. The Bears were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 49-12.

Meanwhile, Crescent played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They came up short against Neah Bay, falling 64-42. The Loggers have struggled against the Red Devils recently, as the game was their ninth consecutive lost matchup.

Crescent's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Chief Kitsap Academy, their defeat was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 1-4.

Chief Kitsap Academy took a serious blow against Crescent when the teams last played back in February of 2024, falling 61-28. Can Chief Kitsap Academy avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
