Baseball Preview: Kenston Bombers vs. North Rangers
The Kenston Bombers will square off against the North Rangers at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Kenston will be strutting in after a victory while North will be coming in after a loss.
While Kenston's win against Aurora wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bombers sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-3 victory over the Greenmen on Friday. The win was a breath of fresh air for the Bombers as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Kenston got a great performance from Bryan Kuchta as he tossed five innings while giving up three earned runs off six hits. What's more, Kuchta posted four strikeouts, the most he's had since back in March.
On the hitting side, Kenston's victory was truly a team effort as six different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Grady Flynn, who went 3-for-4 with two RBI. That's the most RBI Flynn has posted since back in May of 2024.
Meanwhile, North came up short against St. Vincent-St. Mary on Tuesday, falling 12-4.
Jacob Breen was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-3 with one triple, one stolen base, and one run. The team also got some help courtesy of Ethan Grinstead, who went 3-for-4 with two runs.
Kenston's win bumped their record up to 4-13. As for North, they now have a losing record of 7-8.
