Vail Christian is a perfect 10-0 against Rangely since February of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Saturday. The Saints just played yesterday, but they'll still head out to face the Panthers at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Vail Christian has 11 straight victories, Rangely has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the court.

Vail Christian will bounce into Saturday's matchup after beating Plateau Valley, who they had gone 2-7 against in their nine prior meetings. The Saints enjoyed a cozy 71-53 win over the Cowboys on Friday.

Meanwhile, Rangely ended up a good deal behind Little Snake River on Thursday and lost 52-37. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 303rd in Colorado, while the Rattlers are ranked 34th in Wyoming).

Rangely's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Vail Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 12-2.

Vail Christian came out on top in a nail-biter against Rangely in their previous matchup back in February of 2025, sneaking past 58-55. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Saints since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
