Volleyball Recap: Pocono Mountain East Takes a Loss

After flying high against Notre Dame-Green Pond last Friday, Pocono Mountain East came back down to earth. The Cardinals fell just short of the Southern Lehigh Spartans by a score of 3-2 on Tuesday. The Cardinals have struggled against the Spartans recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive lost meeting.

Pocono Mountain East's loss dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Southern Lehigh, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-2.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pocono Mountain East will face off against Freedom at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Southern Lehigh, they will head out to square off against Notre Dame-Green Pond at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
