Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Desert Heights Prep). They breezed past the Baboquivari Warriors to the tune of 68-6 on Friday. This was payback for the Yote, who suffered a 64-46 loss the last time these two teams met.

Desert Heights Prep's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Justin Aguon led the charge by rushing for 98 yards and a pair of TDs, while also throwing for 91 yards and three touchdowns. Another receiver making a difference was Mateo Kindler, who gained 140 total yards and three touchdowns.

The victory made it two in a row for Desert Heights Prep and bumps their season record up to 5-2. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 61.0 points over those games. As for Baboquivari, they are on a ten-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Desert Heights Prep has already played their next game, a 54-6 victory against Valley Lutheran on the 10th. As for Baboquivari, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on San Manuel at 7:00 p.m. on the 17th.
