East Rowan has gone a perfect 10-0 against Lake Norman Charter recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Mustangs will challenge the Knights. East Rowan is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season.
East Rowan is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They came out on top in a nail-biter against Carson, sneaking past 2-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Mustangs have posted against the Cougars since March 29, 2023.

Harrison Ailshie was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he struck out ten batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). That's the most strikeouts he has posted since back in March. He was also big at the plate, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run.
Ailshie wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Mason Phelps, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base and one run.
East Rowan hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Carson struck out ten times.
Lake Norman Charter came out on top against West Henderson on Friday thanks in part to the team's impressive five-run fourth inning. The Knights took their contest against the Falcons 9-4. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Knights.
Like East Rowan, Lake Norman Charter also got a great game from a two-way player: Trevor Cook. He pitched three innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. Lake Norman Charter is undefeated when Cook allows one or fewer earned runs, but 7-10 otherwise. Cook was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run and one RBI.
East Rowan pushed their record up to 24-5 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Lake Norman Charter, their victory bumped their record up to 13-10.
Everything went East Rowan's way against Lake Norman Charter in their previous meeting last Tuesday, as East Rowan made off with a 7-1 win. Will the Mustangs repeat their success, or do the Knights have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
