Soccer Recap: Peninsula Takes a Loss

If Peninsula was riding high fresh off their 4-0 takedown of Wiseburn- Da Vinci last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Peninsula Panthers fell just short of the West Warriors by a score of 1-0 on Tuesday. While getting shut out isn't ideal, the Panthers haven't been shut out since back in December of 2024.

Peninsula has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8-2 record this season. As for West, their win bumped their record up to 4-6-2.

Peninsula will be playing at home against North at 2:30 p.m. on Friday. Peninsula is on a three-game streak of home wins, North a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for West, they will face off against Wiseburn- Da Vinci at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. West is facing Wiseburn- Da Vinci at the right time seeing as Wiseburn- Da Vinci is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
