Soccer Recap: Willis Comes Up Short

After soaring to eight goals the game before, Willis was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They lost 8-0 to the Grand Oaks Grizzlies. The Wildkats have struggled against the Grizzlies recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive lost matchup.

Willis' loss dropped their record down to 2-9-2. As for Grand Oaks, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 7-4-2.

Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing Caney Creek the next time they take the pitch. Grand Oaks will head out to face Caney Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Monday, while Willis will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
