It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Ponaganset had no problem doing just that on Friday. They took down the Barrington Eagles 39-20. The 39-point effort marked the Chieftains' lowest-scoring match of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Ponaganset pushed their record up to 21-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. As for Barrington, the loss snapped their winning streak at 15 games and leaves them with a 17-6 record.

Coming up, Ponaganset will challenge North Kingstown at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. North Kingstown will roll in looking for their 16th straight victory, something Ponaganset surely won't give up without a fight. Barrington does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
