Volleyball Recap: Butternut Midgets vs. Cornell Chiefs

Butternut posted their closest victory since September 29th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Cornell Chiefs. This was payback for the Midgets, who suffered a 2-0 loss the last time these two teams met.
The match was a true back-and-forth as no team won consecutive sets, but in the end it was Butternut who won the one that mattered. The final score came out to 25-15, 20-25, 16-14.
Gianna Nahring paced Butternut's offense, picking up nine kills. Nahring got some help from Lizzie Pritzl and her ten assists. Nahring was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.
