Volleyball Recap: St. Vincent's Takes a Loss

The home team had won the previous six meetings between St. Vincent and Glynn Academy, and Glynn Academy kept the tradition alive. The Saints fell just short of the Terrors by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Terrors apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

St. Vincent's started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last two. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-21, 15-12.

St. Vincent's loss dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Glynn Academy, they pushed their record up to 2-4 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, St. Vincent's will be defending their home court for the first time this season when they go up against South Effingham at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Glynn Academy, they will challenge Greenbrier at 8:00 a.m. on Saturday.
