Basketball Game Preview: Ravenna Bluejays vs. Arcadia/Loup City Rebels

Ravenna is on a three-game streak of home losses, Arcadia/Loup City a six-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Friday. The Ravenna Bluejays will welcome the Arcadia/Loup City Rebels at 7:30 p.m. The two teams are at an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2018, but likely not for long.

Ravenna managed to keep up with Sutton until halftime on Tuesday, but things quickly went downhill from there. Ravenna was beaten by Sutton 63-34. While losing is never fun, the Bluejays can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 235th, while the Mustangs are ranked 37th).

Meanwhile, Arcadia/Loup City lost to South Loup on the road by a 61-47 margin on Tuesday.

Ravenna's defeat dropped their record down to 2-12. As for Arcadia/Loup City, their loss dropped their record down to 5-9.

Ravenna was able to grind out a solid win over Arcadia/Loup City in their previous meeting back in January of 2024, winning 33-23. Does Ravenna have another victory up their sleeve, or will Arcadia/Loup City turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
