Baseball Recap: Aspermont Triumphs

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Jayton, Aspermont was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They walked away with a 6-2 win over the Baird Bears. This was a revenge game for the Hornets: when they faced off against the Bears last Tuesday, they had to take a 7-4 defeat.

Aspermont's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Baird, they have been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-10 record this season.

Aspermont is taking a road trip to challenge Jayton at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Baird, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hamlin at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
