Softball Recap: Poland Seminary Bulldogs vs. Hubbard Eagles
The home team had won the previous four meetings between Poland Seminary and Hubbard, and Poland Seminary kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs walked away with a 10-6 win over the Eagles on Friday. This was a revenge game for the Bulldogs: when they faced off against the Eagles back in April, they had to take a 9-7 loss.
Madison Medvec spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned (and three unearned) runs on nine hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than two walks in 11 consecutive appearances.
