Volleyball Recap: Calallen Takes a Loss

Calallen lost against Industrial on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cobras. The Wildcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Madi Geis paced Calallen's offense, picking up five kills. Geis got some help from Grace Martinez and her 11 assists. Martinez was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Calallen's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Industrial, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 7-3.

Calallen didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 win against Huntsville on the 16th. As for Industrial, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-1 loss against Stephenville on the 16th.
