Soccer Recap: Sheyenne Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Sheyenne can now relate to. They fell just short of the Red River Roughriders by a score of 1-0 on Friday. Sheyenne were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced Red River earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Sheyenne's loss dropped their record down to 11-4-2. As for Red River, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-5-4.

Sheyenne has already played their next match (against Mandan), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Red River will be paying especially close attention to the Mustangs' matchup: after the Mustangs face off against the Braves, they'll take on Red River again at 4:30 p.m. on Friday.
