Softball Game Preview: Stark County Rebels vs. Farmington Farmers

Stark County is 0-5 against Farmington since April of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. Stark County will host Farmington at 4:30 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Stark County fell victim to Biggsville West Central and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They lost 15-0 to the Heat. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Stark County saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Taylor Price, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Farmington was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of Mercer County.

Stark County now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Farmington, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-3.
