Recap: Crofton Warriors vs. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family
The Crofton Warriors can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Tuesday. They strolled past Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family with points to spare, taking the game 55-39. For Crofton, this counts as revenge for the 58-37 defeat Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Crofton to victory, but perhaps none more so than Trevor Allen, who scored 20 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Allen has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Braxston Foxhoven, who scored 14 points.
Several Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Easton Baumgart, who scored 13 points along with three steals. Gavin Friesen was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family struggled to get the ball back on offense and finished the game with only four offensive rebounds. That's the fewest offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Crofton's win bumped their record up to 7-10. As for Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-11.
Crofton will be playing at home against Wausa at 7:15 p.m. on Friday. Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family will take on Twin River at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Humphrey/Lindsay Holy Family focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday.
