After having lost a blowout in their previous game against McClintock, Alhambra was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Central Bobcats by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Lions in their matchups with the Bobcats: they've now won four in a row.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-18, 23-25, 25-21.

Fabricio Mendoza paced Alhambra's offense, picking up 19 kills. Mendoza got some help from Cesar Segovia and his 34 assists.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 7-13. As for Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Coming up, Alhambra will head out to square off against North at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Central, they will be playing at home against Maricopa at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
