Basketball Recap: Crete-Monee Falls Short of Hillcrest in the Playoffs

Crete-Monee and Hillcrest squared off in some playoff action on Friday, but Crete-Monee had to settle for second. They fell just short of the Hillcrest Hawks by a score of 56-54. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest defeat the Warriors have suffered since January 7th.

Crete-Monee has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 18-13 record this season. The victory (which was Hillcrest's fourth in a row) raised their record to 21-10.
