Oxnard is a perfect 10-0 against Pacifica since May of 2021 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Yellowjackets will head out to take on the Tritons at 7:00 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.

Oxnard is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering San Marcos just ended the team's five-game winning streak on Friday. They fell just short of the Royals by a score of 43-41.

Meanwhile, Pacifica was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap on Saturday as they fell 55-51 to El Camino Real.

Pacifica's loss dropped their record down to 10-14. As for Oxnard, their defeat dropped their record down to 17-7.

Oxnard didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Pacifica in their previous matchup on January 5th, but they still walked away with a 66-62 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellowjackets since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
