Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North came tearing into Tuesday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.7 points), and they left with even more momentum. They were the clear victor by a 71-45 margin over the Surrattsville Hornets. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 74-61 back in January.

Leading Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North to victory were Devin Thomas and Amir Morton. Thomas went 8-for-15 en route to 23 points and five assists, while Morton went 5-for-9 to rack up 15 points along with eight assists and seven rebounds. Morton has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Yusuf Aulakh was another key player, putting up six points and nine boards.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least 12 offensive boards in six consecutive games.

Chesapeake Math & IT Academy North's win bumped their record up to 13-6. As for Surrattsville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-12.
