Basketball Recap: Manchester Valley Comes Up Short

Manchester Valley was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their ninth straight defeat. They lost 68-44 to Oakdale. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest loss the Mavericks have suffered since December 19, 2024.

Despite the loss, Manchester Valley still got an impressive performance from Colton Enderle, who went 10 of 21 en route to 25 points along with five boards and five blocks. That's the most points Enderle has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was Trevor Hottenstein, who scored seven points and three steals.

Manchester Valley's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Oakdale, their victory bumped their record up to 7-11.

Looking ahead, Manchester Valley will head out on the road to challenge Harford Tech at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Oakdale has already played their next game (against South Hagerstown), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
