Basketball Recap: Palmyra-Macedon Takes a Loss

Palmyra-Macedon was the 70-41 winner over Waterloo when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Palmyra-Macedon Red Raiders lost to the Waterloo Tigers on the road by a 56-40 margin on Tuesday. The loss was the Red Raiders' first of the season.

Palmyra-Macedon's loss was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-1. Those losses can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.6 points per game. As for Waterloo, their record is now 4-2.

Palmyra-Macedon won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Haverling at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Waterloo and Newark will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
