Basketball Game Preview: Rim of the World Fighting Scots vs. Bloomington Bruins

The Rim of the World Fighting Scots will head out to square off against the Bloomington Bruins at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Rim of the World will come in still looking for their first win of the season.

Last Friday, Rim of the World was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 40-35 to Kaiser.

Meanwhile, Bloomington unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Friday. They took a 56-52 hit to the loss column at the hands of Fontana. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 773rd, while the Steelers are ranked 343rd).

Rim of the World's loss dropped their record down to 0-18. As for Bloomington, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-8.

Rim of the World was taken down by Bloomington 54-18 in their previous matchup back in January of 2024. Can Rim of the World avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
