Football Recap: Hodgson Vo-Tech Takes a Loss

Hodgson Vo-Tech faced Caravel Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Eagles had to suffer through a 35-8 loss at the hands of the Buccaneers. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their meetings with the Buccaneers: they've now lost four in a row.

Connor Nickle threw for 92 yards on eight of 20 attempts. Nybree Davis was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards. On the ground, Keytwan Sabur rushed for 65 yards.

Hodgson Vo-Tech's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Caravel Academy, their win bumped their record up to 6-3.

As of now, neither Hodgson Vo-Tech nor the Buccaneers have any future games scheduled.
